- Operational funding for the day-to-day operations
of the centre
- Vehicle to transport patients to and from
clinic and enable effective community outreach activity i.e.,
emergency transportation, home visits from physicians and conducting
school presentations
- Medications for opportunistic infections
and vitamin supplements
- Stipends for home-based care volunteers,
treatment adherence monitors and office staff
- Appreciation stipends for peer educators
and other committed volunteers
- Emergency medical supplies (oxygen tanks,
stretchers, intravenous poles, sphygmomanometers, electronic
thermometers, sterile gloves, nebulizer, alcohol swabs, dressing
supplies, syringes, heaters, fans, linens, etc.)
- Projector and laptop computer to facilitate
educational sessions/presentations in the clinic and within
the community
- Unlimited Internet and phone services to
facilitate communication, program planning, and ensure access
to online resources for funding opportunities, online journals,
and relevant websites
- Donations for the Saturday Learner’s Program
for transport of students, food, educational materials,
etc.
- Funding for nutritious food and beverage
for support group sessions,
clinic days and community outreach initiatives
- 3 Full Diagnostic Sets
- Wheelchairs
- Pill boxes and “reminder stickers” for
patients on ARVs
- Financial aid for training volunteers and home-based
care workers in counselling, computer skills, basic
medical care, proposal writing, office administration, etc.
- Office supplies i.e., computers, desks and
stationary to meet the administrative needs of the clinic and
aid in the production of customized educational material
- Monies for expansion of garden i.e., seeds,
fertilizer, fencing, tools and agricultural training
